Josiah measures the lengths of different banners around the school and records the lengths in both centimeters and meters. Which statement is true about the lengths of the school's banners? The lengths in centimeters show that there is more variation in the data because the variance is 10,000 times greater than the variance of the lengths in meters. The lengths in meters show that there is less variation in the data because the variance and standard deviations are approximately equal. The lengths in both measurements have the same variation because they represent the same data in different units. The standard deviations of 99.1 centimeters and 0.991 meters are equivalent lengths. The variations of the lengths in centimeters and meters cannot be compared because the standard deviations are not equal.

The meter measurements will have less variation because of the numbers the variance will be 1m for every 100cm. But the coefficient variation will be the same for both.
