    Complimentary angles add up to 90 degrees

    so if x is one angle, then its complement is (90 - x)

    x = 2 (90 - x) + 9

    x = 180 - 2x + 9

    x + 2x = 180 + 9

    3x = 189

    x = 189/3

    x = 63 < = = = the measure of ur angle

    and its compliment is (90 - 63) = 27
