Miller's Machines designs and builds custom computers. Before any computers can be built, a construction area had to be built with tables, chairs, and tools, costing about $1500. The labor and supplies cost an estimated $500 per computer, and each computer will be sold for $750. The investment to build x computers can be estimated using the formula y = 1500 + 500x The gross sales for x computers can be calculated with the following equation: y = 750x How many computers must the business sell to break even?
