A square piece of paper has a side measure of 6 inches. What is the perimeter of the paper?

    There are four sides each 6 inches long so 6+6+6+6 = 24 is the total distance around the edge of the paper

    As a shortcut, 4*6 = 24 since multiplication is just repeated addition

    Either way, the answer is 24
