How do you determine if a line is parallel perpendicular or neither?

    Parallel lines have the same slop, that is the number in front of the X so parallel will both have 3x in the equation. perpendicular is the opposite reciprocal so one would have 3x and the other would have - 1/3x and neither is the choice if the equations are neither of these
