Bill has two dollars in quarters and dimes. the number of quarters is four less than twice the number of dimes find the number of coins each type

    Okay, let's make x the number of dimes. The equation should look like this:

    10x + 25 (2x-4) = 200

    10x + 50x - 100 = 200
