Ray has a handful of dimes and nickels valuing $3.05. He has 5 more dimes than he does nickels. How many of each coin does he have?

    He he 3.05, 5 more dimes so subtract. 50 = 2.55, now dimes and nickels are even so divide 2.55/.15 (one nickel and one dime), The answer is 17, now add the five extra dimes, 22 dimes and 17 nickels
