Rectangle LMNp has a length of 3x+5 meters and 4x-3 meters. What is the perimeter

    The perimeter of any rectangle is 2 (length) + 2 (width).

    So, 2 (3x+5) + 2 (4x-3) = 6x+10 + 8x-6.

    This, in turn, becomes:

    14x+4
