A group of 4 people go out to eat. they decide to split the bill so each person pays 1/4 of the total price. appetizers are $6 and main dishes are $9. write an expression to show how many each person pays.

    ($9+$6) •4•1/4=$15 that is my answer I think it is right.

    y = ($9 + $6) * 4 people * 1/4

    y = ($15) * 4 * 1/4

    y = $60 * 1/4

    y = $15 each
