The length of a rectangle is 2 feet longer than the width. the perimeter is 24 feet. find the dimensions of the rectangle.

    I believe the answer would be 5*7.

    the width of the rectangle is 5 and the length is 7. if you add all sides 5+7+5+7=24 for the perimeter.
