    Multiply 5 on both sides then move the variable to the left the your equation will look like ... 25x=-4x+35

    combine like terms aka 25x + 4x

    then it will look like

    29x=35

    then divide 29 by bothe sides the 29 will cancel out so u have x only but no need to divide 35/29 leave the same.

    answer is x=35/29

    hope this makes sence

    X equals - 15. - 5 = - 4/5+7, and then you just get x by itself.
