Alejandro and Pedro are rid no their bike to school. After 1 mile, there are 5/8 of the way there. How much farther do they have to go?

    They will have 3/5 of a mile left because 1 mile = 5/8, so the rest of the distance is 3/8. If 5/8 is indeed a mile, then 3/8 has two more eight parts to go, so it's three out of five. 3/5 of a mile is about equal to 967 meters
