For the graph y = - 8 find the slope of a line that is perpendicular to it and the slope of a line parallel to it. Explain your answer with two or more sentences.

    The perpendicular slope would be the opposite of - 8, so the perpendicular slope would be 1/8. For you to get this answer you have to change the sign from a negative to a positive, and flip the number to get 1/8
