Use the formula for the slope of a line and substitute your given values:

    y2-y1/x2-x1 becomes (2--1) / (6--6) = 3/12 = 1/4 is the slope of your line

To find the slope, use the formula y2-y1/x2-x1.

    2+1/6+6

    3/12

    1/4

The slope of the line is 1/4.
