Curt is installing a picket fence around his garden, which is 24.27 ft by 13.65 ft. When he gets to the hardware store he finds that each picket fence slat is half a foot wide. If Curt does not want any spaces between each slat, use estimation to determine how many slats of fencing he should buy.

    First we have to find the perimeter. Which is for rectangles 2 (l+w)

    that means the perimeter is 75.84 ft

    each slat is apparently half a foot which would be 0.5ft

    then you simply divide 0.5 from 75.84 and round it to the nearest whole number.
