    Area of a circle = pi*r^2, where r is the radius.

    r = diameter/2

    = 3.102/2

    = 1.551

    A = pi*1.551^2

    = 7.557 cm^2

    Area of a circle is pi radius square

    diameter = 3.102

    radius=diameter/2=3.102/2=1.551

    A=3.14 (1.551) ^2=7.554cm^2
