Rita bought a table on sale for $278.80. this price was 66% less than the original price. what was the original price?

    If it was 66% less then the original, then u paid 34%

    34% of the original price = 278.80

    0.34x = 278.80

    x = 278.80 / 0.34

    x = 820 < = = original price was $ 820
