What is the 42nd term of the sequence 12.25, 14.50, 16.75, ... ?

    T3 - T2 = T2 - T1

    16.75 - 14.50 = 14.50 - 12.25

    2.25 = 2.25

    so this is arithmetic progression

    T42 = 12.25 + 41 (2.25)

    = 12.25 + 92.25

    = 104.5
