    The reason is that the mean, median, and mode are good ways to give a one number value to the data that is represented. All 3 of these values are higher in the town of Madison than in Brandon. This is a strong indicator that the houses have a higher value in Madison.

    The range also tells is how spread out the numbers are, and the range is smaller in Madison telling you that the prices of these houses are closer together. This supports our statement about Madison's house prices being higher. There is more consistency in these house prices.
