    Your question does not seem to make sense since you tried to just copy and paste a test question. For instance 5 1/2 appears to be a mixed number that would equal 11/2 but changing to an improper fraction is not one of your options but if you copied your test question, it leaves all the + signs and exponent signs out to try to keep you from cheating, so was that supposed to be 5 + (1/2) or 5^ (1/2) ?
