A parking lot near the sports field holds a total of 52 vehicles. There are 42 cars parked there now. Half of these cars are red, 10 are blue, and the rest are silver. What fraction of the cars are silver?

    42 - (42:2 + 10) = 42 - (21 + 10) = 42 - 31 = 11 cars are silver;

    11 / 42 is the fraction of the cars are silver.
