Abdul is on his way home in his car. He has driven 18 miles so far, which is two-thirds of the way home. What is the total length of his drive?

    18 miles are 2/3 of the total length home so 1/3 is 18/2=9 miles

    the total length of his drive is 3 (1/3) = 3·9 = 27 miles

    answer is 27 miles
