There were 91 books on a shelf. Twenty-eight of the books were nonfiction, 13 of the books were poetry books, and the rest were fiction books. How many books were fiction?

    13 of the books were poetry books

    28 + 13 = 41

    the rest are fiction

    91 - (28 + 13) = 50 books fiction
