The sum of three consecutive odd integers is 429. Determine the largest of these integers. Note: You must show the following to receive full credit:

    X + x + 2 + x + 4 = 429 where x is the smallest number.

    3x + 6 = 429

    3x = 429 - 6 = 423

    x = 423/3 = 141

    The largest number is 141 + 4 = 145 Answer
