How would you find the number, 3/7 of which is equal to t? (let's say it was any number, just need the equation)

    Let the number be x

    (3/7) x = t

    I can't think of anything useful to add to this. How about an example?

    Let x = 49

    (3/7) x = t

    (3/7) * 49 = t seven will go into 49

    3 * 49 = t

    t = 147
