    Y=2x+3 (equation 1)

    3x-5y=6 (equation 2)

    Sub equation 1 into equation 2

    3x-5 (2x+3) = 6

    3x-10x-15=6

    3x-10x=6+15

    -7x=21

    x=-3

    Sub x=-3 into equation 1

    y=2 (-3) + 3

    y=-6+3

    y=-3

    I believe there is only one solution: y and x both equal - 3.
