Oliver has 2 pieces of rope that are each 3 1/2 ft long. He also has a piece of string that is 2 1/4 ft long. Olivier needs to cut this string into 3 pieces that are all the same length to finish an art project. How long should each piece of string be? A. ft B. ft C. ft D. ft

    They would each be 3/4ft or 0.75 feet because 2.25 divided by 3 is 0.75. That is also known as 3/4.
