A single adult lion at a zoo needs m pounds of meat daily. The zookeeper uses the expression 5m + 10 to find the total amount of meat he needs to feed all the lions every day. If the zookeeper feeds 135 pounds of meat to the lions, which number in the set {25, 27, 29, 30} is the value of m?

    5m + 10 = 135 subtract 10 and put - 10 under 135 and then subtract those numbers together which gives you 125. Then take 5m = 125 then divide 5 under 125 and then the answer would be m = 25
