Cindy had a party. She invited two guests. Her guests each invited four guests, and then those guests each invited three guests.

    In all there would be 17 guests. Including Cindy.

    The total amount of guests would be 18 because the two guests brought four guests which would be 10 and since those guests in invited three guests each then it would lead up to the total of 18.
