Part A: The GCF is 3p.

Factor 3p out of every part of the polynomial.

    3p (f^2-7pf+2f-14p)

Part B: Continue factoring, so factor out 'f' from the polynomial.

    Simplest form: 3p[f (f-7p+2) - 14p)

    3pf^2 - 21p^2f + 6pf - 42p^2

    A. 3p (f^2 - 7pf + 2f - 14p)

    B. 3p (f + 2) (f - 7p)
