Linear sequence - Cost of staying at the hotel on the first day = $240

Cost of staying at the hotel each day after that = $210

So cost of staying there for x days will be 240 + (x-1) 210

    = 210x + 30

    The equation is y = 210x + 30

Since the equation is a poynomial equation to the power of

1, it is called a linear equation.
