To paint a sunset, tran makes a shade of orange paint using 5 drops of red paint for every 8 drops of yellow paint. if tran uses 15 drops of red paint, how many drops of yellow paint would he need?

    24 drops of yellow (8/5 is 1.6 so 1.6 * 15 = 24)

    It is 24 drops of yellow paint. For every 5 drops or red there is 8. 3*5=15 so multiply the 8 by 3 as well to get 8*3=24
