If a rug is 6 feet wide by 8 feet long and suki makes a diagram that is 1 1/3 feet long how many inches should its width be

    The length in the diagram is 4/3 feet.

    (4/3) / 8=w/6 where w is the width.

    So 4 / (3*8) = w/6.

    1/6=w/6 so w=1 foot or 12 inches.
