    In general,

    right shift h is given by

    f (x-h) - >g (x)

    up shift is given by

    f (x) + k->g (x)

    So for h=7, and k=-3, we have

    H (x-7) - 3

    =4 (x-7) ²-16-3

    =4 (x-7) ²-19
