A lawn area of 300 square feet needs 1/2 pound of grass seed. How many pounds of grass sees are needed for a lawn that is 60 feet long and 20 feet wide?

    The answer is 2 pounds because 60 times 20 1200 and 1200 divided by 300 is 4 and 1/2 times 4 is 2
