A circle with radius of 3 sits inside a 8*7 rectangle. What is the area of the shaded region? Round your final answer to the nearest hundredth.

    Area of the shaded part = Area of the rectangle - Area of a circle.

    Rec = 8*7=56

    Cir = (3.14*3^2) = 28.26

    56-28.26 = 27.74

    I think thats the answer.
