How to determine the amount of zeroes of a function?

    You can determine this by doing b² - 4ac (using the values in the quadratic function) and see if it is greater than zero, less than, or equal to. If it is greater, then it has 2 x-intercepts or zeroes. If it equals zero, then you have one x-intercept. If it equals less than zero, you have no x-intercepts.
