The length of a rectangular pool is 4 meters less than twice the width. if the pool's perimeter is 88 meters, what is the width?

    W=x

    L=2x-4

    Perimeter=88

    Perimeter=2 (l+w)

    88=2 (2x-4+x)

    88=4x-8+2x

    88+8=4x+2x

    96=6x

    96/6=x

    16=x (width)
