    They don't because using the order of operations one would be answered differently than the other

    5x+10=30 5 (x+10) = 30

    - 10 - 10 5x + 50 = 30

    5x = 20 - 50 - 50

    x = 4 5x = - 20

    x = - 4

    They do not have the same solutions because 4 is not equal to - 4
