An amusement park charges fares for children and adults based on their ages. Children under 5 are admitted free. Children who are between the ages of 5 and 12 pay half fare; people who are older than 12 but younger than 65 pay full fare. Those who are 65 or older pay reduced fare. Write a compound inequality to describe y, the ages in years of those who do not have to pay full fare.

    Z = children under 5

    y = children between 5 and 12

    x=people 65 or older

    z is less than or equal to y which is less than x
