A fully-loaded truck is carrying grain to a storage silo. if the truck is 8 feet wide, 40 feet long, and 4 feet deep, how many bushels of grain is it carrying? (1 bushel = 1.25 cubic feet)

    8 x 40 x 4 = 1280 cubic feet

    1.25 cubic feet = 1 bushel

    1 cubic feet = 1/1.25 = 0.8

    1280 cubic feet = 0.8 x 1280 = 1024 bushel
