    The full circle has a circumference of C = 2*pi*r = 2*pi*6 = 37.6991118 (which is approximate)

    We only want the piece of the circle that corresponds to a central angle of 60 degrees. So multiply that result by 60/360 = 1/6 to get ...

    37.6991118 * (1/6) = 6.2831853

    The arc length is approximately 6.2831853

    Fraction out of the whole circle times circumference=arc length

    360 degrees=1 circle so

    the fraction it is is 60 oout of 360 or 60/360=1/6 of the circumference

    c=2pir

    c=2pi6

    c=12pi

    so

    the arc length is 1/6 of 12pi or 12pi/6 or 2pi units is the arc length
