    A = bh

    Plug in values and solve for height (h).

    A=3.36

    b=2.8

    3.36 = 2.8h

    /2.8 / 2.8

    1.2 = h

    Base and Height doubled:

    b = 2.8

    h = 1.2

    2 (2.8) = 5.6

    2 (1.2) = 2.4

    Plug in new b and h to area equation given to find area:

    5.6 (2.4) = 13.44

    Resulting parallelogram area = 13.44 ft^2
