To multiply or divide signed integers, always multiply or divide the absolute values and use these rules to determine the sign of the answer: 1. The product of two positive integers or two negative integers is positive.

    2. The product of a positive integer and a negative integer is negative.

    You should know that:

    Two negatives = Positive

    Two positives = Positive

One positive and one negative = Negative

    So to answer the examples:

    1. - 8

    2. 2

    3. - 8
