    L = 2.5 cm

    w = 2.5 cm

    h = 5 cm

    d = 6.12372 cm

    S = 62.5 cm2

    V = 31.25 cm³

    35 cm³ - 31.25 cm³ = 3.75 cm³ < - Answer

    V (prism) = 2 1/2 squared (l*w) * 5

    = 6.25 * 5

    = 31.25

    V (prism) = 31.25 centimeters cubed

    V (container) - V (prism)

    35 - 31.25 = 3.75

    The difference in volume is 3.75 cubic centimeters.
