A pharmacist is emptying capsules to create a powder mix for a patient. if a capsule holds 3. 5 cubic centimeters of medicine, about how many capsules will he need to use to fill a cylinder 2 centimeters in a diameter and 4 centimeters tall?

    Volume of cylinder is π (2/2) ² (4) = 4πcc. Number of capsules=4π/3.5=3.59 capsules, so he will need about 4 capsules to fill the cylinder.
