The mowing and raking typically takes eight hours and an average of forty-eight bags of leaves are filled. Assuming the bags are filled at a constant rate, what is the average time it takes to fill one bag of leaves?

    12 hrs are spent Not bagging leaves, therefore 4 hrs are spent Bagging leaves.

    They fill 48 bags.

    4/48 = 1/12

    The avg time to fill one bag is 1/12 of hour or 60/12 = 5 min.
