In your drawer you have 10 white socks, 6 black socks, 4 brown socks and 2 blue socks. your roomate is still asleep, and you cannot turn the light on while you get dressed. you reach in blindly and grab two socks. what is the probability of pulling out a matching pair of black socks?

    Altogether there are 22 socks by adding the number of socks given above.

    the number of black socks is 6 and in one pair of sock, there are 2 socks.

    so, 6/22 = 3/11 which means out of 6 black socks I pulled out 3/11 pair of black socks.
