Is a multiple of a number is a power of the number?

    Not necessarily. To find the multiples of an integer (for instance) you could multiply that number (say the number 5) by 1, which gives you 5x1=5. Then multiply it by 2 (5x2=10), then multiply it by 3 (5x3=15), and so on. This is how you get the multiples of a number.

    To get the powers of a number you multiply it against itself. So the number 5 to the second power would be 5x5=25, the third power would be 5x5x5=125, and so on. So you can see that by finding the multiples of a number, and the powers of that same number, they are not the same.

    No, a multiple of a number is that number multiplied by an integer. For example, 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 are multiples of 2. A power of a number is when that number because multiplied that many times. For example 5^3 would be the same as 5*5*5
