I bought = 3 tickets for $48 for Friday So, 48/3 = $16/ticket My friend bought = 2 tickets for $36 for Saturday So, 36/2 = $18/per ticket My brother collected $96 to buy 6 tickets. So, 96/6 = $16/ticket They can go to concert on Friday as on Friday ticket is $16 as my brother collected $96 from 6 people = $16 per person. Yes, they buy the less expensive ticket, as for Saturday ticket price is $18 and they bought ticket for Friday which is priced at $16.
